As of August 2020, posting new comments will no longer be supported on Kanopy. Public comments pose a risk for potential harassment and abuse on Kanopy. As such, we have decided to remove the comments functionality. Comments can still be read and deleted, but posting new comments won’t be available.

Ratings
Ratings can be left on films via the website or mobile apps. The ratings will appear as stars in either one of the following colors:
- Orange: this is an average rating of all Kanopy users who have rated the film
- Yellow: this is the rating you have left on the film
You can update your rating at any time, however, ratings cannot be removed.
