To change the email address or password on your Kanopy account, you will need to sign in using a web or mobile browser. Once signed in, go to your Dashboard and select “Edit your profile”.
Changing your email address
In the “Account Information” section, replace the email address that appears with your preferred address and click Save at the bottom of the page.
If you receive an error that says “The e-mail address is already registered”, this means this email address is already in our system. In this case, you can either log out of the account you are currently using then log back in using that email address, or contact us for additional help.
Changing your password
In the “Account Information” section enter the password you would like to use in the 2 password fields and click Save at the bottom of the page. The only password requirement is that it must be at least 6 characters - any message that appears here is only a suggestion.
Resetting your password
If you do not recall your password, you can request a password reset here. Enter your email address and select “Email me a new password”. You will receive an email from Kanopy with a link that says “Reset Your Password!”
Clicking on the link in the email will prompt a one-time login - select Log in to confirm.
You will then be brought to the section within your Kanopy account where you can update your password. Follow the instructions in "Changing your password" to complete this process.
