Troubleshooting HDCP

If you encounter an HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) error, the following troubleshooting steps can help:

  1. Unplug and restart your device.
  2. If you're using an HDMI cable:
    1. Ensure the HDMI cable is HDCP compliant.
    2. Ensure both ends of the cable are firmly connected.
    3. Try a different HDMI cable.
  3. If you're using an external monitor, TV, or projector:
    1. Ensure the device is HDCP compliant.
    2. Turn the device off, unplug it, then turn it back on.
    3. Try a different device.
  4. Try disconnecting any additional devices (headphones, soundbars, HDMI switches, etc.).
