Troubleshooting HDCP
If you encounter an HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) error, the following troubleshooting steps can help:
- Unplug and restart your device.
- If you're using an HDMI cable:
- Ensure the HDMI cable is HDCP compliant.
- Ensure both ends of the cable are firmly connected.
- Try a different HDMI cable.
- If you're using an external monitor, TV, or projector:
- Ensure the device is HDCP compliant.
- Turn the device off, unplug it, then turn it back on.
- Try a different device.
- Try disconnecting any additional devices (headphones, soundbars, HDMI switches, etc.).
