Using keyboard controls
Kanopy can be controlled with a keyboard on the Kanopy website, mobile apps, and TV apps (except Roku—however, Roku's mobile app lets you control your device with a virtual keyboard and remote). Keyboard controls work best when watching a video in fullscreen mode.
In the video player, use Tab and Shift + Tab or the arrow keys to move through the buttons in the player. The currently selected button will be highlighted. Press
Enter or Space bar to use the selected button.
On the Kanopy website, when no buttons in the video player are highlighted, you can use these keyboard controls:
- Play/Pause: Space bar or Enter
- Rewind 10 seconds: ←
- Fast-forward 10 seconds: →
- Exit fullscreen: Esc
